Case Study: Raising the stakes: CDMS creates a Single Customer View for Betfair
Betfair is the world's leading betting exchange, a concept it has pioneered. Having enjoyed rapid growth since launching in 2000, Betfair now processes 5 million transactions every day and over 300 bets a second. Following a review of how they handled customer data for marketing campaigns, Betfair appointed CDMS to create a marketing database that was rapidly cleaned and updated, and that would provide a complete view of their customer base. The results were impressive - within 6 months a SCV was delivered that enables Betfair's marketing team to manage multi-channel communications quickly, accurately and effectively.
